A European Bridal Atelier for Brides Who Want the Right Fit
DILWIEN BRIDAL was founded in 2019 and dresses brides across the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. We make wedding dresses three ways — made to measure, ready to wear, and rental — from one atelier, one pattern library and one standard of fit.
Our story
It started with a gown that did not fit
Our founder spent six years altering other houses’ wedding dresses before opening DILWIEN. Almost every gown that came through the door had the same problem: it had been sold in a standard size and then forced onto a body it was never drafted for. Brides paid twice — once for the dress, once to make it wearable.
DILWIEN was built the other way round. We began with measurement: an eight-step system, taken in the salon or at home with our guided flow, recorded once and kept for every gown you order from us. Only then do we talk about silhouette, fabric and price.
Today we dress brides across the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, and ship gowns throughout Europe — dresses made from scratch, dresses taken from our ready-made rail, and dresses rented for a single, perfectly documented week.

Four things we do not compromise on
European fabric, European hands
Silks and mikado from Como, laces from Calais and Saint-Gall, tulle from Lyon. Cutting, beading, hemming and pressing all happen in our own European atelier — nothing is outsourced to volume factories.
One gown, three ways
The same design can be made to measure, bought ready to wear, or rented for your wedding week. We would rather you wear the right gown on the right terms than stretch for the wrong one.
Honest prices, written down
Every quotation lists fabric, handwork, fittings, delivery and VAT separately. There is no charge for a first consultation and no commission on anything we recommend.

Trained in couture tailoring in Europe and Istanbul, and the person who drafts every DILWIEN block. She takes the first fitting of every made-to-measure gown herself.
