Rental Terms

Everything that applies when you rent a DILWIEN BRIDAL gown.

Last updated 30 August 2026

Rental period

The standard rental period is 8 days, including shipping in both directions. Your gown arrives four days before your wedding date and must be handed to the courier within three days after it.

Availability & reservation

Each gown exists in a limited number of physical units per size. Availability shown on the website reflects live bookings against those units. A reservation is confirmed once the deposit is authorised.

Deposit

A refundable deposit is held for every rental and released within seven days of the gown's return and inspection. The deposit amount is shown on each gown's page.

Cleaning

Professional cleaning before and after your rental is included. Please do not attempt to clean, dye or repair the gown yourself.

Alterations

Only reversible adjustments are permitted — hem tacking and strap shortening. Cutting, permanent taking-in and structural changes are not allowed on rental gowns. If you need those, choose made to measure.

Damage & loss

Normal wear on the day is expected and covered. Significant damage — large tears, deep staining, burns — or loss of the gown is charged against your deposit, up to the maximum stated on the gown's page.

Late returns & cancellation

Late returns are charged at a daily rate, because another bride is usually waiting. Cancellations more than 30 days before the rental start are refunded in full; within 30 days, the deposit is retained.
